Shaping successful products

During his time at SIGNAL IDUNA, Sebastian supported us in the context of the conversion rate optimization of our online sales process and lead forms as a UX / UI designer. One of his focus points was working on an interdisciplinary project to digitally acquire new customers for a dental insurance. In this project, which was initiated as part of the agile transformation program of SIGNAL IUNDA, he was able to generate great value for the team, in particular through the conception of customer-centered user flows. He always convinced with his holistic view of the problems at hand. His expertise ranged from problem analysis and the creation of visual prototypes to the evaluation of the generated solutions in the form of qualitative usability and quantitative A / B tests. He was able to convince with his technical knowledge as well as with his friendly and human nature within our cross-functional teams.

Sebastian supported us in a software development project as a UX / UI designer. The project is tasked with establishing an international commercial customer portal in the context of the company website. As an IT project manager, I am dependent on receiving specific and precise specifications with regard to the technical description and design. During the course of the project, Sebastian created CICD-compliant designs for various technical topics, which the entire team rated as of high quality. Even under time pressure, Sebastian goes the extra meter and reliably delivers very good work results by the deadline. One of Sebastian's strengths is his constructive and uncomplicated, friendly communication, which was well received in backlog refinements and all other exchanges and has also relieved tension in the group. In addition to new perspectives, Sebastian also likes to share his knowledge with the team, for example in lunch & learn appointments. I would love to work with Sebastian again and again.

I had the pleasure to work with Sebastian while he was a freelance UI/UX Designer at SIGNAL IDUNA.‍ While working on an online insurance contract, he proved his capability to shed a light on complex details without losing sight of the big picture. His enthusiasm and profound understanding towards user-centered design allows him to produce viable products and services with great ease. He always lends a helping hand, gives promising ideas for design and always stands up for the right decisions.
